Monday is the second of May's two bank holiday s, giving many people across the UK a three-day weekend. As with all bank holiday s , schools are closed, many people are off work, and shop and supermarket opening times tend to differ slightly. So if you need to pop to the shop for groceries, it can be handy to know when they open and close. Here are the opening times for Aldi , ASDA , Tesco , Lidl , Morrisons , M&S, Sainsbury's and Waitrose on the bank holiday of Monday, May 27.

Tesco stores across the UK were open as normal on Saturday and Sunday.
