Cristiano Ronaldo's agent meets with Barcelona president amid talk of Manchester United exit MUFC
Barcelona may have entered the race to sign Cristiano Ronaldo with the player’s agent understood to have met with the club’s president.as he wants to play for a club competing in next season’s Champions League.Ronaldo was part of the Man United squad that only managed a sixth-placed finish in the Premier League
Jorge Mendes, who represents Ronaldo, also has the likes of Bernardo Silva and Ruben Neves on his books but the report says Ronaldo’s availability was discussed in his meeting with Barca president Joan Laporta. However, it could also be a ploy to up the ante with Bayern Munich as they try to finalise a deal to sign striker Robert Lewandowski, who is understood to be Barcelona’s priority signing up front.
This would be some move for Ronaldo, who played for Barca’s biggest rivals, Real Madrid, for nine years
