Barcelona central defender Pau Cubarsi has signed a contract extension through to 2027. Cubarsi, 17, has enjoyed a breakthrough season at the Catalan club — making 20 first-team appearances having come through the ranks of their La Masia youth system.

According to Spanish law, a player under the age of 18 cannot sign a longer contract.
