Each pair got £300 to spend and just one hour to find three items from the Nottinghamshire antiques fair
A new episode of Bargain Hunt featuring Nottinghamshire has aired, with contestants trying to find the best bargains they can at an antiques fair in Newark. The BBC show returned to our screens with two new duos both hoping to find the best bargains, but one team left with a final loss of £100.
Each pair got £300 to spend and just one hour to find three items for the auction during Friday's show . One of these items has to cost at least £75, whilst another has to fulfil the challenge set by host Natasha Raskin Sharp.Sharon and Jackie, who work as an admin assistant and charity worker, purchased a dog brooch for £2, a piece of Hallmark jewellery for £55 and a large bronze figure of two storks for a whopping £200.
Next up on the auction block was the stork figures, which the pair "loved" but unfortunately the bidders did not feel the same way and it sold for £85. Host Natasha told the pair: "Unfortunately at £85 it's made a £113 loss, so your £13 profit has turned into -£102."
