There’s a lot of Robins who have fought by Batman’s side over the years, but one member of the Dark Knight’s rogues' gallery believes a certain Boy Wonder is Bruce Wayne’s equal. With a single word, Ra's al Ghul gave Tim Drake respect no other Robin has ever received.
Over his long career fighting crime in Gotham, Batman has recruited a number of young heroes to assist him in keeping Gotham safe from the numerous threats it faces. Every hero that has taken on the mantle of Robin has brought something unique to the table. Dick has his acrobatics and charm while Jason has an intense focus and drive. Tim has a deductive prowess and Damian has a ruthlessness that just can’t be matched.
"Detective" is a name Ra's has fondly called his greatest adversary for years, and is the villain's way of complimenting Batman's powers of deduction. Even though Ra's has had his issues with the Dark Knight, the leader of the League of Assassins has always held a healthy respect for Bruce Wayne.
And he's not wrong for giving Tim the honor, either. After all, Tim is the only Robin who figured out Bruce Wayne was Batman, which was no easy task. Tim was also correct with his hunch that Batman was not dead based off a mysterious oil painting of Bruce. If Batman is the World's Greatest Detective, then Tim Drake has a sound argument for being the world's second greatest.
