Flooding of the Cosumnes River has taken three lives.
So far, three bodies have been found as a result of the flooding of the Cosumnes River that burst its banks on New Year's Eve, leaving vehicles strewn across a newly formed lake and some submerged underwater.
The Sacramento County Coroner's Office has now identified one of the dead as Mei Keng Lam, 57, of San Leandro. Her body was reportedly found in floodwaters near a vehicle on Dillard Road. Anappearing to be from the victim's daughter-in-law yesterday sought the public's help in locating Lam. The account later confirmed her death.
