Fans have been speculating who will take over the LateLateShow
For the past few weeks, the question on everybody’s lips has been ‘who is going to take over the Late Late Show from Ryan Tubridy?’
Earlier this month, Ryan made the shocking announcement that he will be giving up the gig at the end of this season after an impressive 14 years fronting the Late Late.A number of names have been thrown around in regards to who the newbie could be, and fellow RTE star Baz Ashmawy has discussed the possibility of hosting the iconic show.
Despite shutting down possibilities, the DIY SOS frontman says it is ‘very sweet’ that fans have been speculating him for the job."There’s loads of really great talent in Ireland and a lot of them are my friends. I think all the people they’re talking about are all really good candidates.Miriam O’Callaghan was originally tipped by fans as a frontrunner to take over the show, before she announced she had no plans to do so earlier this month.
"Although the speculation about me being one of the favourites to take over The Late Late Show is very flattering, that won't be happening as I am not throwing my hat into the ring to be considered." Miriam began.
