BBC axe Football Focus and Final Score as presenters refuse to work
Saturday’s Match of the Day programme in solidarity with Lineker, while Premier League players and managers will not give interviews.
The saga has now extended to the rest of the BBC’s programming after Football Focus presenter Scott pulled out of Saturday’s midday show.The former Arsenal and England star tweeted: “I made a decision last night that even though I love my show and we have had an incredible week winning an SJA for football focus that it doesn’t feel right for me to go ahead with the show today.. Hopefully I will be back in the chair next week….
