BBC's upcoming six-part series Film Club was created by Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood and House of the Dragon's Ralph Davis
BBC has announced that Suranne Jones will be joining the cast of the forthcoming romantic series, Film Club, alongside Happy Valley's Adam Long, Kaos actor Nabhaan Rizwaan, and Three Girls star Liv Hill.
The plot centres around Evie , who hasn't ventured outside her home in six months due to a "wobble". She hosts a weekly film club in her garage, where her best friend Noa joins her for an evening of diversion. The full synopsis states: "Friday night. 7pm. Film Club Week 198. Evie hasn't left the house in six months after a 'wobble', and Film Club is her sanctuary. A weekly opportunity to craft a world of enchantment, decorate the garage according to the movie theme, and spend a few uninterrupted hours with Noa - her best friend and one of the few pals who still shows up.
