The Traitors bosses are said to be targeting A-listers for the new celebrity spin-off - including a global comedy icon. The hit BBC show is returning with an all-star version, it was confirmed last week. And now it's been reported that Ricky Gervais is top of their wish list, with sources revealing the broadcaster hopes the comedian, 63, could return to the channel where he first found fame for his role in The Office.
“So Ricky will be in good company around the Traitors table, but whether he takes part will probably depend on his hugely busy diary.” Other rumoured names for the show include Jonathan Ross and Courteney Cox, who is a close friend of host Claudia Winkleman. A fourth “civilian” series has also been confirmed.
