BBC viewers point out savage Amanda Holden 'dig' made by Eurovision host Hannah Waddingham
The Eurovision Song Contest kicked off on Tuesday night with its first live show in Liverpool. The annual competition is being held in the UK on behalf of last year's winners Ukraine after Sam Ryder took second place in the 2022 competition.
During the semi-finals, which took place at Liverpool Arena last night, views of the BBC live show picked up on a savage 'dig' made at Amanda Holden by co-host Hannah Waddingham. The Ted Lasso star is co-hosting alongside Alesha Dixon and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina with Graham Norton joining them for the grand final on Saturday, May 13.According to BBC viewers, the Britain's Got Talent host was 'thrown under the bus' during the host's opening speech, reports The Echo.
Amanda famously said: "Bon soir. Goedenavond. That is 'good evening' in French and Dutch although I've got absolutely no idea which is which."@Lukebbz said: "Hannah Waddingham throwing Amanda Holden under Le bus, quality shade."
