Six giant stained glass window will be unveiled in Belfast over the coming weeks to mark the start of the final season of GameofThrones(NO SPOILERS)
The unveiling opposite the main entrance to Belfast City Hall came just hours after superfans stayed up until 2am to watch the first of the six final episodes.
The stained glass panes have been designed by hand illustrators and are being stained by an artist in Bangor, Co Down. The HBO fantasy epic has been filmed on locations across Northern Ireland over the last ten years, and watched by millions of fans across the world.— Tourism Ireland April 15, 2019 Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, said the aim of the campaign was to highlight Northern Ireland to audiences across the world.
"We're reminding people everywhere that Northern Ireland is Game of Thrones territory and encouraging them to come and explore it for themselves."
