A Belfast restaurant has issued a statement after claims an 'offensive' video was filmed on its premises.
The video was shared on X, formerly Twitter, and across WhatsApp and has now been removed from the social platform, but claimed to show "brutal and sectarian" behaviour allegedly at the restaurant.However, the Coppi team has denied these claims that it was filmed at their restaurant and said the information being shared is "entirely untrue".
"We’ve received various messages from customers who are understandably upset, but we wish to categorically state that this video has no connection to Coppi or our team members whatsoever.
