The Graham Norton Show will be back on our screens on Friday night and, as usual, this week's guest list is packed full of A-listers
This week's episode of The Graham Norton Show will see the Cork chat show host welcome a fellow Irishman on to the famous red sofa. The hugely popular BBC series will be back on our screens on Friday night with another star-studded line-up in store for viewers.
Among this week's guest is Roscommon actor Chris O'Dowd, who will be chatting about his new comedy drama series, Small Town, Big Story, which is coming to Sky Atlantic and NOW later this month. The six-part series stars Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks and is set in the fictional town of Drumbán, a rural village of rattled misfits on the border of Ireland. The show delves into what happens when a Hollywood production rolls into town and throws the spotlight on a secret that’s been kept hidden since the eve of the Millennium.The Scottish actor is set to return to the London stage for the first time in 17 years to star in My Master Builder, a new play by American playwright and screenwriter Lila Raicek. McGregor stars as an architect, Henry Solness, whose wife throws him a party in the Hamptons to celebrate the unveiling of his new work. However, the evening is then disrupted by the arrival of his former student. Joining Chris and Ewan on Friday's show is Oscar-nominated actress Kate Hudson, who will be chatting about her new career as a singer-songwriter. Known for hit films such as Almost Famous and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Hudson released her first solo album, Glorious, last year, with the LP earning praise from music critics. She'll be chatting about her music career with Graham on Friday night as well as her new Netflix comedy series Running Point, which follows a reformed party girl who must prove herself as a businesswoman when she's unexpectedly put in charge of her family's pro basketball team. Rounding out this week's line-up is James Bond and Moonlight star Naomie Harris, who stars in the new Steven Soderbergh thriller Black Bag. The upcoming film, which also stars Irish actor Michael Fassbender and Oscar winner Cate Blanchett, is about a legendary intelligence agent who faces the ultimate test when his beloved wife is suspected of betraying the nation.
