Ben Foster estimates whopping fee Wrexham's owners spent on players' Las Vegas trip
Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster thinks Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney spent close to £1m on the players' Las Vegas trip.
To celebrate winning the National League, the club's owners footed the bill for a four-day trip to Sin City at the end of the season.Foster has had his say on the true cost of the tripThey have now returned to the football league for the first time since 2008, with Notts County also joining them in League Two next season."Oh my god. The way that Rob McElhenney and Ryan put it on for us, laid it on for us was just like pffft, nothing I've ever seen.
"We got there and it was just literally land, straight shower, straight change, go to Hakkasan for dinner and then we're going to Hakkasan nightclub straight afterwards.I'm a Premier League cult hero who fronted a boyband and want to play for Wrexham at 41 "By the way, all expenses paid. We're saying yeah, nobody paid a penny for anything, I mean literally for nothing."
When asked how much his bosses may have spent, he said: "Got to be half a million, had to be at least half a million. Genuinely it had to be because they just purely looked after everything, it was phenomenal.
