Benedict Cumberbatch reacts to rumors that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will introduce the Illuminati. After his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange will be venturing on his own adventure via the Sam Raimi-directed flick. Not much is known regarding the movie's plot specifics, but the first Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer offers fans an idea of what to expect from the blockbuster.
"It's the beginning of all of this, isn't it? I kind of escaped it with Spider-Man because we were doing reshoots for Strange, I couldn't do the tour. Poor Tom [Holland] and [Zendaya and Jacob Batalon] and everyone else had to go, 'Yeah. Haven't heard about that' and just sort of deny everything."
