Beto O'Rourke, the Democratic candidate for Texas governor, will be a special guest at the Human Rights Campaign Houston Dinner. O'Rourke joins a roster that includes transgender actress Alexandra Billings, known for her roles in"Transparent" and"The Conners"; Kimberley Locke, the"American Idol" finalist who came in third to Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken; and comedian Dana Goldberg.
The dinner is a5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Marriott Marquis Houston, 1777 Walker. Tickets start at $250 and can be purchasedGuests must be fully vaccinated and provide proof by showing a card, clear photo of the card or vaccine passport app. Masks are encouraged when not eating or drinking or when six feet of social distance cannot be maintained.
