During the media conference, Raimondo announced that the Department of Commerce’s National Intuition of Standards will be creating a partnership with SkyWater Technology and Google to provide free-cost,“By providing these designs for free, open-source, this is a public/private federal government collaboration that will help us to fuel this sort of wafer technology and research and development. Exactly what the CHIP Act is meant to do,” said Raimondo.
