President Joe Biden's cat Willow and dog Commander are on sale as Christmas ornaments.
The White House Historical Association has a tradition of making Christmas ornaments, usually depicting specific aspects of the incumbent administration. The association has now added to the collection an ornament of two first pets. Willow the tabby cat and Commander the German shepherd can now decorate anyone's Christmas tree in the form of an ornament made of velvet, chaupel, silk thread, metal thread, gold cord, plastic beads, and foam stuffing showing the two posing together.
Biden's love of his pets has been no secret throughout his presidency, and the first pets have captured the hearts of many. His pet German shepherds even inspired a somewhat popular Twitter account,"The Oval Pawfice," which attempts to imitate the dogs to push Democratic causes, often utilizing puns."I am so furry proud of my dad @POTUS fur all the pawbulous work he’s doing fur the American hoomans.
