Her.ie’s favourite former president will earn a whopping €195,000 for giving a twenty minute speech in the University of Limerick this weekend.Bill Clinton will be flying out of Shannon this Sunday with heavy pockets as JP McManus is preparing to write him up a cheque with so many zeros it makes our heads hurt!at the University of Limerick tomorrow to celebrate JP’s 32 county scholarship and is believed to be taking home a whopping €195,000 for the favour.
A source said: “The fee is not an issue for those seeking him. It’s just getting him, such is his huge popularity as a speaker at major international events and his massive schedule.” Speaking yesterday, JP said that he had difficulty getting hold of Bill, but managed to coax him into visiting Limerick for the first time since 1998 with the help of friends.
“Well he had a lot to do with the peace process in Ireland. So I thought he was the ideal man to get,” said JP. If we haven’t made it clear, we are huge fans of Bill here in Her.ie that it has even come to the point of being a bit creepy.However, for nearly 200K we really think he’d want to be pulling the inspirational words out of the bag and we hope he hasn’t used up all his lines on his bestie Barack.
