ICYMI: BillieEilish is launching her first-ever fragrance!
“I’ve always been in love with vanilla, since I was a kid and my mom would teach me to bake,” the 19-year-old shared, though she initially disliked the taste as a child. “Vanilla is such a...a smell...but, for me, that was really how I felt like I wanted to smell, and just my favorite smell.”
As for the bottle design, Eilish said she has “always had an infatuation with backs and collarbones and just like, bones and bodies” and “didn’t want to have [the bottle design] be a certain body type.” it. ... I like the idea that you can see the person that you are in love with in it, somehow; I feel like it could match anybody, almost -- or you.”
The singer expressed excitement about releasing her debut fragrance on Instagram."I am SO EXCITED to finally share my debut fragrance 'Eilish' with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! this is a scent that i’ve been chasing for years and years. this is my favorite smell in the WORLD," she wrote."Fragrance has always been such an enormous part of my life and existence since i can remember, and it was a dream to create this scent and bring my ideas to life.
