His upcoming film “BROS,” which premières in theatres on September 30th, will make Eichner the first openly gay man to co-write and star in his own major studio film. The film is also the first gay rom-com to be produced by a major U.S. studio and the first to feature an entirely openly L.G.B.T.Q.

He has appeared in numerous films and stage shows, including Broadway’s “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Hairspray,” for which he won a Tony for best actor.
