The highly-contagious virus was confirmed on Wednesday , and all birds will be culled to prevent the spread.The commercial farm is close to a farm which also experienced an outbreak last week.
A statement by the Department of Environment, Food & Rural Affairs said: “Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 was confirmed in commercial poultry on 24 May 2023.
