The UK Food Standards Agency has warned raw or unpasteurised milk and cream could contain harmful bacteria that can cause food poisoning and has advised people with weaker immune systems not to consume it
Bird flu virus has been detected in a raw milk sample from a supermarket leading producers to issue a recall.
"We are proud of our world class protocols to provide to the market only the best for our customers. All test results performed by Raw Farm and all the official tests by CDFA have been negative. There have been no reported illnesses. Health officials only found the H5 element of the virus within the collected sample, but they still believe it is contaminated with H5NI. No H5 cases have been reported in California and it has not been found in any cows in the state, The New York Post reported.
