The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures hosts “Regeneration Summit: A Celebration of Black Cinema,” Feb. 3-5, that includes discussions, performances and screenings. In the file photo, more than 50 glamour photographs of movie actors at the special exhibit, “Regeneration: Black Cinema, 1898-1971” now through July 16, 2023. The exhibition features achievements and challenges of Black filmmakers in the United States.
