Black Ops Cold War exploit has Call of Duty fans fuming at Activision CallofDutyModernWarfare2 Activision Warzone2
A gamebreaking exploit has reportedly made its way into Activision’s Black Ops Cold War installment and the publisher’s lack of communication regarding this issue has left Call of Duty fans fuming. Apparently, the bug in question gives random people the chance to access a player’s IP, which in turn allows them to purposefully crash a game and “potentially cause other issues.”, “Activision has not addressed this nor have they stated [that] they’re aware of this problem.
Ghost Wacke, another YouTube content creator, then went on to mention in another comment that “CoD is not safe anymore.” HunterTV, a streamer that’s previously worked with FazeClan and Adin Ross, also chimed in by saying “there is not a single Call of Duty game from the past 20 years that is playable.” A majority of the other players responding under CharlieIntel’s original thread also shared similar sentiments.
With Activision still yet to provide an update, it’s currently unclear when this gamebreaking exploit is going to be patched. Unfortunately, their infamous track record of not providing timely fixes indicates that fans may have to wait an unnecessarily long time before this gets addressed.
