The two men were given sentences totalling more than 13 years
Reece Huskinson and Reece Lindsay were involved in a series of thefts in the Layton area of Blackpool which saw the pair break into houses and then steal the owners' car. The pair were caught thanks to an investigation by Blackpool's Targeted Crime Team.
Huskinson, 27, and Linday, 21, went before Preston Crown Court and both pleaded guilty to five counts of residential burglary and vehicle thefts. The pair were handed sentences totalling more than 13 years.Detective Sergeant Stuart Reid of Blackpool's Targeted Crime Team said "This was a particularly detailed investigation and we are very pleased to remove these two burglars from our community.
Huskinson, of Manchester Road, was sentenced to seven years and nine months imprisonment. Lindsay, of Buchanan Street, was sentenced to six years.
