Bonfire Night fireworks display at Blackpool Pleasure Beach with late-night opening to close the season in style
Fireworks will light up the sky to bring the 2022 regular season at Blackpool Pleasure Beach to a close. The theme park will open late on Saturday, November 5 for guests to enjoy the thrills and spills of the rollercoasters in the dark, ahead of a stunning fireworks display.
Thrill seekers can hop on board The Big One, ICON, and ride the old classics including the Grand National and Big Dipper to celebrate Bonfire Night in style. Young riders will get the opportunity to can meet characters from Paw Patrol and other favourites at UK’s only Nickelodeon Land, while jumping on one of its 12 amazing rides, including Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic.
The park is open from 10am with rides closing at 9pm, in readiness for the fireworks. Pre-booking in advance is recommendedAmanda Thompson OBE, CEO of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, said: “The 2022 season has been fantastic and it has been wonderful welcoming all of our guests. The fireworks display is a great way to celebrate Bonfire Night, end the main season and bring in our Winter Weekends.
"From the whole team, thanks to everyone who has visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach this season and we look forward to seeing everyone for our Winter Weekends, Pantomime and Christmas Grotto.” The family attraction on Ocean Boulevard is then set to open every weekend for its 'Winter Weekend' programme until Sunday, November 27, before it closes for winter until spring 2023.
In the meantime, visitors can enjoy some traditional pantomime fun, with Cinderella at The Globe, starring Charlotte Dawson. The show opens on Saturday, November 26 and runs until Christmas Eve.
