RESEARCHERS IN UK have warned that there was 'no evidence' that Omicron was milder than the Delta variant, as the daily number of Covid cases in Britain crossed 93,000, the highest British figure for the third consecutive day.
The Imperial College London research, which analysed UK infection data, has raised doubt on the hopes of some experts, that a change in the virulence of the new variant would limit pressure on health systems.
