There's a bonanza of festivals taking place around the country this weekend. If going along here's some basic information around stage times, highlight acts, access and getting there

There’s a schedule of family-friendly acts, performances, creative workshops and adventures in the forest, lakeside, walled gardens and hidden pathways of Ballinlough Estate to explore each day. Follow theOpening & closing times1pm Friday until Monday 1pmFriday 12pm-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm, Sunday 10am-6pm. Please note entry to the festival is not permitted outside of these times.Arena closing timesFriday 6-9pm.

A hundred of the world’s finest authors and sharpest intellects are descending on the historic seaside town of Dalkey this weekend in a wildly varied programme of 72 events.

The festival app by WOOV is now live , with set times, act planners, site map and to connect with other festivalgoers.Beyond The Pale is an over-21s event; there’s family camping where under-12s are allowed.Food on-site over the weekend includes Happy’s, Órale, Bish Bosh, The Big Blue Bus, Little Dumpling, Kerala Kitchen. There’s craft beer from Whitehag and crafty cocktails. Bars are card only.The forecast is for humid, warm weather with sunny spells with temperatures of 19-22 degrees.
