Ireland will return to international action next month when Heimir Hallgrímsson’s men take on Bulgaria in a two-legged play-off.
Strasbourg boss Liam Rosenior has confirmed that defender Andrew Omobamidele won’t be fit for Ireland’s Nations League play-off against Bulgaria.
Rosenior feared that he would lose the on-loan Nottingham Forest defender for the rest of the season, after four impressive outings with the Ligue 1 side. “We were afraid that it would be worse and that his season would be over,” said the former Hull manager.
