Police have confirmed that the family of Mark have been informed.
Officers discovered the body of a man this morning, Thursday, September 14, in the Ness area of the Isle of Lewis.
The man has not been formally identified by Mr Elston's family have been made aware of the discovery. Police Scotland said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal Mark was last seen in the island on Tuesday, September 12 and his family had been growing concerned for his welfare. He had phoned a friend to arrange a meet up yesterday but nobody had heard from him since then.
