Fury has been told he was very nervous whilst facing off with Ngannou at their press conference last month as a body language expert has given their take
Tyson Fury has been labelled as "nervous" by a body language expert before his crossover fight against Francis Ngannou on Saturday.
“During their face-off interview, Fury is playful, acting up, showing a childlike, nervous energy, bouncing and joking. His movements are erratic - rubbing his nose which could indicate nervousness, whipping his hat on and off his head which shows that he's distracted. When he talks, however, he is a totally different man - he speaks with an even tone, calm facial expressions, raised eyebrows which mean he's engaged with his interviewer.
“Fury isn't embarrassed to admit that he’s nervous - he's jittery, jumpy, and generally showing himself to be on edge. Their humorous official promo is interesting, as it demonstrates their unique characteristics. Although they're equally focused and strong, Fury's unique personality as it is shown, is his bouncy playfulness, and Francis Ngannou's unique personality as it is demonstrated, is his temper.
