Body of man, 44, found in Irish mountains

Body of man, 44, found at The Cut in the Slieve Bloom Mountains, Co Laois

His remains were found around 1pm on Tuesday, February 4 in an area known as The Cut in Clonaslee.

The man's body had been taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise where the State Pathologist will carry out a post-mortem today. A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told The Irish Daily Mirror that gardai are investigating all circumstances following the discovery.
