Cops say the body was found in a remote part of the island this afternoon at around 1:30pm.
Cops made the grim discovery in the Ollaberry area at around 1.30pm today, Tuesday, December 13. Police have launched a probe into the incident but it is not thought the death is suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The body of a woman was found near to an outbuilding in the Ollaberry area of Shetland at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, 13 December, 2022.Top news stories today "A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
