Almost 62 percent of registered voters in Kendall County cast ballots.
BOERNE — Boerne voters approved a $36 million bond package to improve infrastructure and the city’s parks and open spaces.
The $23 million Proposition A improves streets in poor condition. It passed with over 60 percent of the vote. The vote means Northside Community Park, on a 35-acre plot purchased thanks to the 2007 bond election, receives $9 million for a host of improvements, like expanding a skate park, several sports courts and fields, and walking trails.
At the county level, Kendall’s $20 million Proposition A passed with over 67 percent percent of the vote, 14,589 to 7,061.
