Bohemians FC have secured the signing of winger Connor Parsons from English National League side Dagenham and Redbridge. Parsons, who previously played for Waterford, is eager to make an impact at Dalymount Park and contribute to the team's success.
Bohemians manager Alan Reynolds is confident that new signing Connor Parsons will inject energy and excitement into his squad, having previously worked with the winger at Waterford . Parsons has joined the Dalymount Park club after departing English National League side Dagenham and Redbridge, just two months after his arrival at Victoria Road. The winger spent two successful seasons at Waterford before moving on when his contract expired at the end of last season.
After making only two substitute appearances for Dagenham, Parsons returned to the League of Ireland on Tuesday, becoming Bohs’ fifth signing of the close season. Dagenham confirmed his departure, stating it was due to 'personal reasons' and that Bohemians paid an 'undisclosed fee' for the player. Reynolds expressed his delight at securing Parsons, stating: 'Connor is a really talented winger with electric pace, who will bring great energy to our side and excite our supporters. He is a player I’ve wanted to bring to the club for some time. We tried to get him at the end of last season so I’m delighted that we’ve been able to get him now. He is someone I have worked with before at Waterford so I know the qualities he will bring. He is a really quick and direct wide player. He knows the league well now, and he is going to be a brilliant addition to our squad.'Parsons echoed Reynolds' enthusiasm, saying: 'I am absolutely buzzing. Bohemians is a massive club. I know from the two years I’ve had here with Waterford how incredible the fans here are and the backing they give the players here at Dalymount and on the road as well, so I can’t wait to get started.
