Staff took immediate action to vacate the premises for safety reasons
Multiple bomb threats were directed towards Government offices in Dublin, leading to the evacuation of the Departments of the Taoiseach, Enterprise, and Justice, as well as the Labour Court.
Reportedly, the threats involved claims of explosive devices being planted at each of the targeted locations. The seriousness of the situation prompted the evacuation of the Labour Court and Workplace Relations Commission buildings by their respective staff at 1.45 pm today. The threats were communicated via phone to the reception desk, which necessitated the precautionary measures taken.
Consequently, all scheduled cases for the afternoon had to be abandoned in response to the unfolding situation.
