Get ready for Bonfire Night 2023 in Bury! The fireworks festival will take place on November 5, featuring displays and bonfires across the borough. Celebrate the failed gunpowder plot of 1605 with family-friendly events, fairground rides, food stalls, and a spectacular fireworks display at Radcliffe Cricket Club on October 28.
This year, the fireworks festival will kick off on Sunday, November 5 and will see a variety of displays and bonfires across the Greater Manchester borough. Bury Council told the Manchester Evening News that Bonfire Night events are usually undertaken by sports groups and clubs, such as cricket clubs and are not usually organised by the council itself.
According to the organisers, the night will feature plenty of things for visitors to enjoy, including fairground rides, food stalls, and a colourful fireworks display. Gates are expected to open at 6pm, with the fireworks display starting at 8pm. The first firework display is set to take place at 6.45pm while the second will take place an hour later at 7.45pm. Other services available at the venue include a tombola, stalls, refreshments, and a bar area.
