It's also alleged the former British prime minister also had to be stopped from travelling to Buckingham Palace during the pandemic in case he 'killed the Queen', the Covid Inquiry heard today

Boris Johnson is claimed to have asked government health experts whether people could get rid of coronavirus by blowing a hairdryer up their nose after watching a YouTube clip touting the bizarre remedy.

He described as a “low point” the former prime minister’s decision to share a video of “a guy blowing a special hair dryer up his nose to ‘kill Covid’” on a WhatsApp group, asking the chief scientific adviser and chief medical officer what they thought.Mr Cummings said Mr Johnson had compared himself to the hapless Inspector Clouseau from the Pink Panther films, “in that scene where he pulls the brake and it comes off in his hand, then pulls off the steering wheel and chucks it out the window”.

“An ex-girlfriend was making accusations about him in the media. His current girlfriend wanted to finalise the announcement of their engagement.”
