POLICE have sealed off a pleasure boat amid fears two children killed at Bournemouth beach were caught the waves from a vessel. A 17-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl were killed and eight others…

The girl was from the Buckinghamshire area and was visiting Bournemouth at the time. The teenage boy was from Southampton.lifeguards and were checked over on the beach.

Rachel Farrell, the Assistant Chief Constable of Dorset police, said: "It is clear a number of people who were already in the water got into difficulty and we are investigating the circumstances that caused that to happen. "Our early investigations indicate there was no physical contact with a vessel or the swimmers at the time.The search came amid fears the kids were killed by the 'wash of a vessel'Credit: BNPSCredit: PA
