A 12-year-old boy has made his first appearance in court, charged with murder following the death of a 60-year-old woman who was hit by a car.
The boy, who is accused of murdering grandmother Marcia Grant in Sheffield, has been remanded into secure accommodation following an appearance at the city's youth court. He is next due to appear at crown court on Tuesday.Mrs Grant suffered fatal injuries in the incident, which happened in the Greenhill area of the city on Wednesday.
