Boy rushed to hospital after falling from two-storey stairwell while 'sliding on rail'
A 12-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after he fell from the top of a two-storey stairwell at a school., has been treated for multiple injuries.It’s thought he suffered arm, back, shoulder and head injuries.A pupil told BBC Scotland the boy had been attempting to slide down the handrail.
A spokesman for South Lanarkshire Council said: "We can confirm that a pupil was taken to hospital for treatment after the accident and is recovering well.
