A 13-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager was seriously injured during a robbery at a tram stop.

The boy sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of robbery and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.Greater Manchester Police has now issued an appeal for information in connection with the incident. “This incident happened in a busy area of Manchester and there would have been numerous people stood on the platform at around 3pm on Sunday 25 June who may have seen something. I urge you to do the right thing and report any information that may help us with our investigation. .
