Boy, 4, rushed to hospital after collision with motorcyclist in Newtownards, Co Down
The child was involved in a collision with a motorcyclist just before 5pm yesterday.
An air ambulance team touched down in the Lawnbrook Drive area of the town as a crowd watched on, Belfast Live reports. A spokesperson for Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said they "received a 999 call at 16:42 on Wednesday 24 April following reports that a four-year-old male child had been knocked down in the Lawnbrook Drive area of Newtownards".
They added: "NIAS dispatched a Rapid Response Paramedic, an Emergency Crew and a doctor to the scene. The Charity Air Ambulance, with a HEMS crew on board, was also tasked to the incident.
