A FIRST-GRADER was killed by his school bus seconds after getting off as he went home for the Christmas break.
The unnamed boy, six, crossed in front of the vehicle near the Oakland Mobile Home Park neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon in Missouri.A six-year-old boy was fatally struck by his school bus in Missouri seconds after getting off as he went home for the Christmas breakThe bus had other students on board when it pulled away, hitting the first-grader, according to police.Trooper Scott Roettger of the Missouri Highway Patrol said that the bus driver and all witnesses were quizzed.
The boy was a student at Plattin Primary School and the kids held Christmas parties in their classrooms as it was the last day of term before the holidays."This is a bad day; it’s a bad day for our school, it’s a bad day for our community. We’re hurting.”
