The jury is watching videos of the second accused boy being interviewed by gardaí on the day he was arrested on suspicion of murdering the 14-year-old girl
One of the two boys accused of the murder of Ana Kriégel agreed with gardaí in an interview that he could see his account of what he had told them did not match up with CCTV footage.
Boy B had told them that he called for Ana at the request of Boy A. He said he and Ana met Boy A in the park, he "tagged along" behind them for a while and he then left. He further told them that he saw Ana again when he was on his way home and that she looked sad. Boy B said that when he was walking with the group, he was not really paying attention to where they were going.
