A nine-year-old boy has died after a hit-and-run in Bundoran, Co Donegal last night.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.Gardaí said that the State Pathologist has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be carried out at Sligo University Hospital.
An appeal for witnesses has been issued and gardaí are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to come forward. Gardaí are also asking that anyone who has video footage, including dash cam, from Atlantic Way and Sea Road at the time of the crash to make it available to them.
