The boys ran away from the scene to safety

The boys were approached as they walked along Hibbert Lane in Marple, towards the Marple College, at around 5pm yesterday . Two males, who were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas over their faces, rode past them on a red and black moped, police said.

One of them got off and demanded the boys handed over 'property'. They ran away from the scene to safety.Officers investigating the incident are now asking residents on Hibbert Lane with any CCTV or dashcam footage of the moped to the come forward. Information can be sent to [email protected].
