After getting the surface blasted clean by firefighters from Dumbarton fire station, creative agency Thermmark gave pupils the chance to choose new colourful designs to enjoy during their breaks.
Youngsters at Braehead Primary in Dumbarton have a playground to be proud of - thanks to community support.
Nicola Moorcroft from the school’s parent council said: “The kids absolutely love them and want to thank everyone involved - the Friends of Braehead Parent Council, the Dumbarton Community Fire Station and firefighters who helped to clean the playground and get it fresh and ready for the stencils. “They even provided a professional who used a blowtorch to seal the designs onto the playground so there was no requirement for glue or anything. He was extremely professional and careful while working and had them all finished in just a day.
